Bachelor Degree of Library Information Science (B.Lib.)

 

Objective : The one year Distance Learning Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.Lib.I.Sc.) Degree being conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of library management and administration, book and journal procurement, preservation and conservation of published materials, on-line and digital library services etc.

Eligibility : Bachelor's Degree in any discipline Duration : One year (Two Semesters)

Award : Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.Lib.I.Sc.) Degree shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by The Global Open University, Nagaland. They will be also eligible for admission to M.Lib.I.Sc. Degree.

Total Fee : Rs. 18,125

Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 150 per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Semester Examinations.

Bachelor's Thesis : To be submitted by all B.Lib.I.Sc. students before appearing in the final B.Lib.I.Sc. Examination.
